How did this name come about? I racked my brains for months over a logo. Should it be an artistic PR for Peter Rieser, modern or more vintage? But every idea that I liked today, I no longer liked tomorrow. It was enough to drive me crazy. Then someone said to me: You're not just looking for a name for your business. You want to tell a story!

Well, what's the story? I spent half my life in northeastern Brazil. The people, the culture, the scent and the landscape have become my passion. My logo and this website tell the story of that.

"Oxente" a word full of history and an enormous cultural identity

The term "Oxente" comes from the exclamation "Oh, people!" It is often used in northeastern Brazil. It expresses surprise or amazement and symbolizes a strong cultural identity. This expression is deeply rooted in the language of the people.

The logo reflects the influences of northeastern Brazil. The design elements are strongly inspired by the people of Pernambuco and the entire region.

I chose ochre yellow and brown as the color palette. These colors represent the down-to-earth nature and hospitality of the people in this region of Brazil.

The leather hat with the twisted brim and the star in the middle is symbolic of the state of Pernambuco and the entire region. It embodies the power, strength and endurance of the people of this area. It also shows their deep connection to their homeland and their pride in their cultural roots.

Its influence on art, music, painting, literature and cinema is impressive.

The element of the white-winged pigeon refers to the famous northeastern bird "Pomba-Asa Branca". The musician Luiz Gonzaga composed the well-known song "Asa Branca" about this bird. Today the song is considered the secret anthem of the Brazilians in the northeast of the country.

The appearance of this passenger pigeon in the dry, steppe-like hinterland brings people hope for the long-awaited rain.
