The Brazilian beaches offer everything from peace and quiet to adventure. Majestic coconut palms and bright skies frame the scenery. The fine white to golden-yellow sandy beaches shine with each
other. The water is crystal clear or turquoise blue and clean.
The coast of Brazil stretches over around 8,000 km of sandy beaches. In this country of skimpy bikinis and ice-cold caipirinhas, you can discover more than 2,000 beaches and bays. This is also
where Copacabana, probably the most famous beach in the world, is located.
But if you reduce Brazil's beaches to just the glamorous Copacabana, you're missing out on a lot. According to the "Travellers' Choice Awards", the "Baía do Sancho" bay is considered the most
beautiful beach in the world. It is located in the island paradise of Fernando de Noronha, 350 km from Recife.
Many Brazilians are convinced: The most beautiful beaches are in the northeast of the country. My personal insider tip is Praia dos Carneiros in Tamandaré!
